Abstract
Purpose: This research was conducted aim at studying the effectiveness of entrepreneurship training on improving the quality of family life and destitute families’ income. Methods: Research design was the type of pre and post-test of experimental with control group. The research population includes all families with income lower than 100000 toman in Sanandaj city. In order to participate in the entrepreneurship training workshop, 200 people of population enrolled. Using the quality of life questionnaire and further diagnostic interview about families’ income, it was determined that 106 people out of 200 people registered had the qualification to participate the workshop. From this population, 60 males’ head of household was selected in a random manner and they were divided randomly into two groups of 30 people (entrepreneurship training and witness). Through the quality of life questionnaire and further diagnostic interview about families’ income, data was tested in three stages: pretest, posttest and follow-up.
Findings: The results of multivariate analysis of covariance revealed that the entrepreneurship training is effective on improving the quality of family life and destitute families’ income and its effect is stable in follow-up stage. Conclusion: Through the entrepreneurship training can promote the quality of family life and increase the destitute families’ income.
