The Effectiveness of Reality Therapy on Happiness and Hope in Divorced Women

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this research was to test the effectiveness of reality therapy on increasing happiness and hope in divorced women. Methods: The research design was Semi-empirical with experimental and control groups. For this propose, 30 woman of statistical population that included all women who were divorced have been selected randomly and then divided to experimental and control groups. Intervention was conducted on experimental group but control group received no intervention The research instruments were Oxford happiness questionnaire and Snyder hopes questionnaire .To analyze data the statistical method of MANCOVA has been used. Findings: The results of MANCOVA have showed that Reality therapy is effective in enhancement of happiness and hope (P>0/0001). Conclusion: Reality Therapy training intervention can be used as an effective intervention in increasing happiness and hope of divorced women.
