Also the result of showed that adult attachment style suitable predictor of Marriage Conflict Resolution. And compare the attachment style among married teacher show no significant result between men and women teacher but compare the conflict resolution styles between men and women teachers show that women use more the Obliging style, Compromising style and - Integration style than men in conflict situation.
Conclusion: The findings suggest that marriage and family therapists should pay particular attention to attachment issues in marital therapy. It is important to assess characteristics of anxiety and avoidance in the relationship and highlight how they shape current relationship dynamics. Especially, the therapist should validate each partner’s sense of insecurity, the inner fear that pulls him or her away from constructive conflict resolution. It is of equal importance that the therapist works on changing negative models of the self and others by helping the couple provide a secure base for each other. One way to achieve this is if the therapist helps the spouse of an avoidant partner to respond in a way that challenges the avoidant partner’s negative models of the self and others, and then assists the avoidant partner to respond to the new input positively.
