The survey of Effectiveness of Counseling Integrated Pattern for Divorce Prevention on Life Quality & Lapse of Divorce in the Couples on the Threshold of It

Abstract

Purpose:Nowadays in most countries, especially in Iran, divorce is increasing & this has negative effects on couples, children & society, this study was done with the purpose of the survey of effectiveness of counseling integrated pattern for divorce prevention on life quality & lapse of divorce in the couples on the threshold of divorce.
Methods: This study was semi experimental, pretest- posttest with experimental & nonequivalent control group. Statistical population was all the couples who were applicant of divorce and were referral of Family counseling center of Sanandaj’s court of justice in 1390. 16 subjects were randomly selected of applicant couples and were randomly located in two groups, experimental and control group. Tools of this investigation were quality life questionnaire and questionnaire which was invented by investigator. ANCOVA and Xwere used for analysis of dates.
Findings: The results ANCOVA showed that pattern of divorce prevention could increase the quality of experimental group significantly (p≤0/001). Also results showed that lapse of divorce in applicant couples of this program was more than control group (p≤0/01).
Conclusion: The findings of this study supports  the effect of counseling integrated pattern for decrease of divorce and increase of couples quality of life , so it can be used in divorce prevention counseling’ s  program and solving of marital conflicts.
