Purpose: Birth order and family size can play an important role in life style and personality. The purpose of this research was to investigate the role of birth order and family size in predicting of life style and personality types in students. Methods: In this correlation research, 360 students of Guilan university selected by multistage clustered sampling and filled the Basic Adlerian Scale for Interpersonal Success(BASIS-A) and NEO personality Inventory. Spearman correlation and regression were used for analyzing the data. Findings: There is negative correlation between birth order with wanting recognition, going along taking charge and entitlement, and positive correlation between birth order and being cautious, belonging-social interest and harshness. Also, there is negative correlation between birth order and neuroticism, extraversion and conscientiousness. Family size was negatively correlated to taking charge life style and positively to neuroticism. According to multivariate regression with enter method birth order negatively predicted the wanting recognition, going along and taking charge life styles; Birth order negatively predicted the neuroticism, extraversion and conscientiousness. But, family size has not a role in predicting the life styles and personality dimensions. Conclusion: Results supported the relationship between birth order and family size with some of life styles and personality and has important implications in attending to the role of birth order and family size in life style and personality.

Purpose:One of the prime objectives of researches in the area of couples relations is determining factors that influence couple interaction and predict marital satisfaction. The present study investigates the relationship between attachment styles and forgiveness with marital satisfaction in couples. Methods: The research was acorrelation. The population was selected from among the couples of Masal 75 couples (n=150) through accessible sampling procedure. Data were collected using the adult attachment styles questionnaire of Collins & Read, Enright Forgiveness Inventory and Enrich Marital Satisfaction Scale which were confirmed to be reliable and valid. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient and step wise regression analysis in SPSS software, version 16. Findings: Results revealed that there was a negative significant relationship between avoidant and anxious attachment styles and marital satisfaction (P≤0.01).Moreover there was a positive and significant relation between the secure attachment style and marital satisfaction. In addition, there was a positive significant relationship between forgiveness and marital satisfaction. Additionally, the research indicated that attachment and forgiveness styles explained 28% of variations in marital satisfaction that was statistically significant (p≤0.01). Moreover, regression analysis showed that 10% of variations in marital satisfaction can be accounted only by behavioral domain of forgiveness in couples. Conclusion: current study showed that significant relations exist among attachment styles of couples, their forgiveness, as well as their marital satisfaction. Each parent uses the style of attachment that has been developed during his/her infancy. In addition, given the role of forgiveness in reduction of negative feeling and increasing positive feelings, it is plausible to assume that forgiveness is associated with a higher level of marital satisfaction. In the future researches it is necessary to clarity whether manipulating the styles of attachment, and forgiveness, can lead to the changes in marital satisfaction.

Purpose: Marriage as most sumptuous and Social tradition, humanrelationship, Complex, elegant and dynamic is special feature. The Aim of this study was to consider the Effectiveness of Empathy Skill Training to the group on increasing intimacy couples. Methods: This research was an experimental study with design the pretest – posttest with control group. The statistical population of this study were All couples that referred Because problems about intimacy and the need to improve intimate relationships to Roshd Counseling Center in the city of Shiraz in 1390. This study sample were 20 couples of the couples that Were selected the targeted after obtaining the lowest score intimacy test And were replaced the random assignment in two experimental groups (10 pairs) and the control group (10 couples). Then after the educational intervention on the experimental group, the questionnaire was administered again. The gathering data Was analyses with using software SPSS and Covariance. Findings: The data obtained were analyzed for effects on empathy skillsTraining. Results finding showed differences in two experimental and control groups in terms Couples Intimacy has reached a significant level. The size of the Conclusion: The results of this study can be noted that Empathy Skill Training effects to the group on increasing intimacy couples

Purpose: The aim of present study The study of the efficacy of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy adopted for couples, Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy on women with distressed couples and General Anxiety Disorder.
Methods: Six women with Generalized Anxiety Disorder and their spouses were selected using purposeful sampling. Non-congruent multiple baseline experimental single case study was used as the method of the present study. The efficacy of ACT and IBCT Treatment Protocol was carried out in three phase of intervention (Baseline, 16 session treatment and 3 month follow-up) by using the Pennsylvania State Worry Questionnaire (PSWQ), Generalized Anxiety Disorder Questionnaire (GADQ), Dyadic Adjustment Scale (DAS) and Acceptance & Action Questionnaire (AAQ) evaluated. Data analyzed with visuals inspection, improvement percentage and reliable change index (RCI) strategies.
Findings: Results showed that IBCT and ACT have positive efficient on treatment's target ACT treatment efficacy also showed more than IBCT.
Conclusion: Theoretical explanation of findings for effectiveness of therapy, suggest that ACT was efficient in Magnitude, Universally, Generality and stability of changes, but in Acceptability and safety both of therapies were similar.

Purpose: The aim of this study was providing a structural model for family sublimation based on direct effects of religious orientation and personality on family sublimation and indirect effects of these factors on family sublimation regarding the mediator role of life style, psychological wellbeing and marital performance.
Methods: Statistical population was families of Isfahan in 2012 that have a child at least and participants were 360 people (180 couples) those selected by cluster sampling. The research method was correlational and structural equation modeling. The research tools were demographic questionnaire, family efficiency in view of Islam questionnaire, religion orientation questionnaire, The NEO Five-Factor Inventory (NEO-FFI), lifestyle questionnaire (LSQ), Ryff's Scale of Psychological Well-Being (RPWB) and Marriage Functioning Assessment Inventory (MFAI).
Findings: Results showed that religious orientation had direct and indirect effects on family sublimation with mediator role of life style and psychological wellbeing. Religious orientation and general factor of personality had impact on family sublimation together. Also, Religious orientation general factor of personality had direct and indirect impact on family sublimation regarding the mediator role of life style and psychological wellbeing. Hence, developed model of predicting family sublimation based on religious orientation, general factor of personality, life style and psychological wellbeing was confirmed and religious orientation was pivotal.
Conclusion: The findings of this study are useful to family therapists in providing of educational content and necessary skills for student of related courses and it’s suggested that religious beliefs and orientations addressed in this areas. Also, it’s suggested to therapists and counselors of family that consider the religious context as a basic variable in formulation of treatment or manipulation in family performance and sublimation.

Purpose: Themost couples therapy interventions and strategies are to increase marital satisfaction and psychological well-being in maladjustment couples. Psychological well-being is a state of symptoms mental, physical and social health. The purpose of this study was indication the effectiveness of quality of life therapy on psychological well-being in maladjustment couples in city of shiraz. Methods: The research method of this study was experimental that was used from and pre-test and post-test design with experimental and control groups. The research universe of this study was comprises all couples referred to treatment centers that who was selected by voluntary sampling among couples and has been selected randomly in two experimental and control groups. Subjects of experimental group received the 8 session treatment program and the subjects of control group were placed in waiting list. In this study used than Ryff psychological well-being scale. The data were analyzed by multivariate analyze (MANOVA). Findings: Result of this of MANOVA showed that quality of life therapy was cause of increase psychological well being and subjects of environmental mastery, personal growth, positive relations with others, purpose in live and self – acceptance in experimental group. Conclusion: According to this results can be concluded that quality of life therapy improves the indices of psychological well being of individuals.

Purpose: This article investigated validity and reliability of the communication patterns questionnaire (christensen & sullawey, 1984). Methods: 401 married participants (148 women, 253 men) were selected and were asked to complettheaggression questionnaire (buss & perry, 1992), panas (watson & et, el. 1988), index of marital satisfaction (spanier, 1976), self-esteem (eyzenk, 1976), satisfaction (hudson, 1992). Findings: analysis of finding showed the communication patterns questionnaire has adequate validity and reliability in Iranian sample (α = 0/76). In addition to Concurrent validity of the questionnaire With measures mentioned scale Obtained (from 30/0 to 95/0). Conclusion: According to the obtained results it can be concluded that the Communication Patterns Questionnaire has adequate reliability and validity in married Iranian men and women.
