Purpose: The aim of present study was the effectiveness of Family-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy on suicidal ideation, depression signs, family cohesion and adaptability of suicide attempters in Razi Hospital of Ahvaz. Six suicide attempter's male were selected using purposeful sampling. Methods: Multiple baseline experimental single case study was used as the method of the present study. The Family-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy was carried out in three phase of baseline, intervention and follow-up and participants completed The Suicidal Ideation Scale (SIS), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI-13) and Family Adaptability and Cohesion Evaluation Scale (FACES-2).Data analyzed with visuals inspection, reliable change index (RCI) strategies and improvement percentage. Findings: Family-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy had a significant effect in reducing suicidal ideation, depression signs and increasing family cohesion and Solution-Focused Therapy had only a significant effect on the reduction of suicidal ideation. Conclusion: Results showed that both these therapies had positive efficient on target, but Family-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy was more successful.

Purpose: The aim of present study was to examine the effectiveness of group training of “Practical Application of Intimacy Relationship Skills” on communication patterns in couples. Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental method with pretest and posttest and control group. The study population included couples who have referred to Darab city health network. Statistical samples consist of twenty couples (forty individuals) that were voluntarily selected and randomly assigned to experimental and control groups. The measurement tool used was the Communication Patterns Questionnaire (CPQ). Participants took part in eight sessions of “Practical Application of Intimacy Relationship Skills”. The data was analyzed with covariance analysis. Results and conclusion: The results of this research showed that group training of PAIRS program increased the mutual constructive communication patterns and reduces mutual avoidance as well as demand/withdraw communication patterns.

Purpose: Couple Burnout is a painful situation of physical, emotional, and mental exhaustion which has adverse outcomes such as marital dissatisfaction and finally divorce. Many related researches have been done on this topic both inside the country and abroad. The purpose of this study was to investigate The Efficacy of GroupCognitive-Behavioral Couple’s Therapy (GCBCT), on the decrease of Couple Burnout of couples referred to Counseling Centers in Izeh. Methods: The research was a quasi-experimental one with a pre- test, post– test, a control group and Follow up period design. The study populations were the couples referred to Counseling Centers (8 Center) with Marital Problems. To do so, 30Couples who scored one standard deviation below the mean in the CBM, were chosen randomly using sampling method and were divided randomly into experimental group and control group. The experimental group received 8, 90 minute sessions of Groupcognitive – behavioral Couple’s Therapy whereas the control group did not receive any intervention. After a week, were performed Posttest both the experimental and control groups, and after a month was conducted Follow-up test. Research instruments used in this study were the questionnaires of couple burnout (CBM). Data were analyzed using univariate and Multivariate analysis of covariance statistical methods in SPSS software, version 17. Findings: Results revealed that after the Cognitive-Behavioral Couple’s Therapy intervention, there was a significant difference between the performance of control and experimental groups (P<0/000), and, cognitive-behavioral couple's therapy (CBCT) leads to reduction of couple burnout and Its component. Effects on various aspects was calculated as follows: Couple burnout 95%, Physical fatigue 49%, Emotional disability, 50% and Mental disability,53%.The results is stable In the follow-up period, Significantly. Conclusion: It can be concluded that CBCT can be helpful in reducing couple burnout and Its component female and finally improving Family stability.

purpose: Due to the devastating effects of emotional abuse in couples' relationship that also leads to the marital distress, the present study has been carried out with the purpose of the effectiveness of self-regulated couple therapy approach on emotional abuse and martial distress. Method: It was a semi-experimental study with pre test- post test along with the Control group. The statistical society of this study, includes the whole couples referring to the counseling and psychotherapy center dependent on the welfare and education of Mashhad, which 10 couples have been selected as the sample of study by available sampling method and they have been placed in two groups of Control (5 couples) and experimental (5 couples). After implementation of the emotional abuse questionnaire and duo adjustment scale (DAS) as a pre test on both groups, the experimental group was exposed to the 8 sessions of self-regulated couple therapy. After intervention completion, both experimental and Control group had been answered the post test. Obtained data has been analyzed by descriptive statistical indexes, single-variable and multivariable covariance analysis test. Findings: Results suggest that between two groups of Experimental and Control groups, there is a significant difference in emotional abuse and martial adjustment variables (p=0.001, p<0.01). Conclusion: So it can be concluded that self-regulated couple therapy leads to reduce the emotional abuse among couples and also this approach significantly reduces the martial distress among couples.

Purpose: The purpose of this research was to test the effectiveness of reality therapy on increasing happiness and hope in divorced women. Methods: The research design was Semi-empirical with experimental and control groups. For this propose, 30 woman of statistical population that included all women who were divorced have been selected randomly and then divided to experimental and control groups. Intervention was conducted on experimental group but control group received no intervention The research instruments were Oxford happiness questionnaire and Snyder hopes questionnaire .To analyze data the statistical method of MANCOVA has been used. Findings: The results of MANCOVA have showed that Reality therapy is effective in enhancement of happiness and hope (P>0/0001). Conclusion: Reality Therapy training intervention can be used as an effective intervention in increasing happiness and hope of divorced women.

Purpose: The purpose of the present research was studying the effectiveness of Cognitive Couple Therapy in increasing martial adjustment among married students. Methods: The research was an experimental one with a pre- test, post– test and a control group design. The research population consisted of all married students of Islamic Azad University – Islamshar branch in 89-90 academic years. The initial sample consisted of 100 couples who selected through multistage cluster sampling. Then, among those who scored lower than from the sample mean in the research instrument (Dyadic Adjustment), 32 person (16 couples) selected and randomly assigned into two groups (8 couples in experimental group and 8 couples in control group). After administering pretest, experimental group received 8 sessions Cognitive Couple Therapy and control group didn’t receive any intervention. At the end of sessions, posttest was administered and the data was analyzed by ANCOVA. Findings: Results showed that compared to control, total marital adjustment in the experimental group significantly increased. In addition, compared to control, dyadic satisfaction, dyadic cohesion, dyadic consensus, and affectional expression in the experimental group significantly increased )<0/05). Conclusion: Based on results, it can be concluded that Cognitive Couple Therapy can be used effectively to promote marital adjustment and its dimensions.

Purpose: The purpose of this research was to study the direct and indirect effects of leisure patterns (core and balance) in marital stability. Methods: In order to 270 spouses in Kermanshah participated in the study. They were selected through a multi cluster sampling. The instruments used in this study are: Relational Maintenance Strategy Measure, Marital Happiness, Family Leisure Activity Profile, marital stability. Findings: Results of path analyses showed that there are positive correlations among core and balance patterns with relationship Maintenance strategies; relationship Maintenance strategies with marital happiness; marital happiness with marital stability. Relationship Maintenance strategies and marital happiness plays mediating role betweenleisure patterns and marital stability. Conclusion:So we can say recreations and leisure activities can play important role in marital stability by creating communication skills and Injection happiness in marriage.
